The campsite of Lou Puntaou is located at Léon in the heart of the Landes region of South West France. While the Atlantic coast is some 6 km away, it is possible to experience all the pleasures of the beach along the banks of the nearby lake.
Léon itself is a lively, friendly, picturesque village offering good shopping, a busy market and many opportunities to savour the arts and crafts of the region.
